Background

Since 2008, we have led the effort to re-establish the civil society of the emerging Iraqi community in Australia by promoting cultural and educational activities. We have been at the forefront of nearly every major public event in Sydney that provides harmony and peace among the Australian multi-cultural society.

As strong and powerful as the deep history and culture of Iraq, our organisation has been successfully integrating the emerging Iraqi community with the wider Australian society.

Create a legacy in the community based on equality and respect to other.  Reward our youth and achievers for succeeding in their studies and life.

 

What We've Achieved

  • Rewarding HSC students & university graduates for their high achievements in their studies.

  • Spread peace and harmony among the community and celebrate cultural heritage through the Cultural Festivals, Refugee Week, Aljawahiri & Alnawab poetry festivals.

  • Celebrate diversity of cultures through the international women festival.

  • Defending Human Rights through educational seminars, establish networks to share information and collaboration with NGOs and govenrment agencies.
